I really hate waste, and everything is used up to its full potential in my family whether we swap borrow or donate. So here it comes, Dad had a waterproof jacket that cost a fortune when he originally bought it nobody else wanted it because it had a hole in it, he could not take it to the charity shop, “who wants a coat with a hole in it”? This coat would have landed up in landfill but instead it was made into two posh raincoats for the dogs, problem solved. Mum and I started using clothes that we no longer wanted especially fleece jackets to make an array of dog coats. Family and friends admired our handywork and immediately wanted one for their dog. This is when it hit me that we could do this for everyone.
